Steel idlers


Smooth and grooved idlers manufactured with a single or double row bearing. A wide range of high performance idlers have been developed for demanding applications at small diameters :

- Directly mounted idlers,
- hydraulic damping tensioners,
- On/Off idlers.

Steel idler applications: 

The idlers were developed and validated by Hutchinson for internal combustion engine applications: Industrial engines, agricultural vehicle engines, army vehicles, construction vehicles, mining and quarrying vehicles, marine applications, refrigerated vehicles, power generators, etc.
